
In 2013, Outlook’s President felt there was a gap in the sport eyewear market. We embarked on a national consumer research study to find what sport enthusiasts were looking for in sunglasses.
That study uncovered a key insight, from which VIGOR™ was born. The average sport consumer didn’t want to buy cheap sunglasses as they didn’t fit properly & got in the way during play. But they were hesitant with premium more expensive brands, as they were afraid to break or damage them being active.
From this, along with other specific consumer product feedback - Outlook’s product development team was engaged to build VIGOR’s core product design philosophy. A set of 3 design principals were chosen to be part of every pair of sunglasses bearing the VIGOR™ brand, and to ensure our product were specifically MADE FOR SPORT.
Today, VIGOR™ is proudly one of the best selling sport sunglass brands in SportChek and Sports Experts, along with many independent retailers in Canada.
